Went looking for a book to read up on a topic, only to discover that I have loaned it out. That is not bad, the sad part is I do not remember to whom I loan it to. I may not have even written my name in it.
the disadvantage, we can't even loan our book to anyone..
I'm looking forward to the day when this is possible in Logos.
I am NOT viewing the inability to loan Logos books as it's advantage [6] Come on!
I do wish that Logos joins other e-publishing companies to facilitate loaning resources.
I regret that the OP chose a deliberately misleading title instead of listing all of the real advantages of Logos books, such as
It's so easy to have a look at a book in Logos, that it makes the whole system addictive! That is a disadvantage because there's no advantage for me with books being downloaded after purchase as I'm far behind with my studies and need a lot of time to catch up since I'm prioritizing language-studies:
instant gratification - buying and downloading a book takes seconds, instead of weeks and months if you live overseas care to add more?

Good idea to loan a book in Logos if it is implemented, at least I would not lose it. My book, I may never see it again, even though I wanted to read for a lesson this week. [:(]
Lynden, from your comments I am guessing that the book that you lent out was on the Sanctuary. Knowing that you are a Seventh Day Adventist that narrows down the title somewhat. Many of the old Adventist books are available in pdf format from various places on the internet including "The Cross and Its Shadow" by Haskell, and F. C, Gilbert's "Christ In His Sanctuary." My favorite though is Sara Peck's "The Path To The Throne of God." You could convert these pdf files into Word and then build a personal book.

Actually it was this one: https://adventistbiblicalresearch.org/shop/v-4-issues-book-hebrews
Fortunately, Martin has said that the entire set will be available via Logos. I will lose it not longer.
