High CPU Usage with Mavericks

Has anyone else noticed a significantly higher usage of your CPU while running L5 on Mavericks? My CPU fan is spinning as if Logos was indexing (but it's not). Activity Monitor reports over 200% of the CPU is occupied by L5.

I'm running

2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

on a Late 2011 MBP 13"

I'm running a new 2013 MacBook Pro with Mavericks, and I haven't noticed that at all. I've had Logos 5 running for several minutes now. Indexing a really small item looks like the first picture below. Sitting idle at the home page, without me doing anything, looks like the second picture.

If you are curious about what is going on, please enable and post logs.

Kill Logos.
Enable logging using the instructions in my signature line.
Restart Logos.
Allow the problem to reoccur.
Give the program a little workout.
Quit Logos.
Grab the logs per the instructions in my signature line.
Post the logs in this thread.
