Downloading Resource

Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred.

Opened resource, hit book info, and trying to download it (Holman Quicksource Guide to understanding the bible). It starts downloading and about 10% through bar, skips to end and says installing. When return to resource, it says 'could not open offline resource'. I don't appear to have any other issues downloading other resources.

App Info – Which app you are using. (Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Study Bible, Verbum or Vyrso)

Appears to be problematic with Bible and Faithlife - the two that I use.

Device Info – (Nexus 7, Motorola Triumph, Droid Bionic, Kindle Fire (1st gen))

Samsung S4

Android Version – (2.3, 3.x, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3)

Great problem description[:)]

I have just tried this - in my test I downloaded from the library instead of within the book - and see exactly the same problem.

This is actually a very big file - about 140MB - and I wonder if this is a factor.

Hopefully someone from Logos will be able to comment further.

I noticed this problem with a collection of three resources late Friday afternoon, and then it was also reported with a different resource on the iOS forum. The issue is that the server is returning an empty file for these resources (which is why the bar skips to the end), so my first task this morning is to figure out who on the server team can help track down this issue. [:)]

We were able to track down the issue and get it fixed. The fix should be live in approximately 15 minutes or so. Sorry for the inconvenience!
