Buying new resources and loading them

I just bought a new resource and it is not present in my library. The little logos icon at the bottom of my screen tells me, when I hover over it, that Logos is downloading it, but it also states that it is at 0% of 9.2 MB. This has been the case for like an hour. I realize that getting new resources takes time, but I have the feeling that it hasn't even started. Can anyone help?

Have you had any downloading issues in the past, not just resources but in general? Have you tried 'Update Resources' in the command bar? Can you post your system specs? It may be the case that BITS is not going through with a download job, in which case restarting the service (or your computer) may fix it. Issues in the past...well, I did try and download some freebooks from the Logos website and didn't have much luck there. Otherwise, my computer specs are Intel Core 2 (2 GHz processor), 2 GB Ram, 32-bit operating system, Vista, and is an HP. I have tried both Update Resources and Update Now in the command bar, but nothing changes. I have tried restarting the program and the computer. Still the same.

To figure some of this out we are going to need some logs, please visit the link in my last post and enable logging before running L4. Then start L4 and if the issue is reproduced, if the logos 4 indexer icon says it is downloading, let it sit for 5-10 minutes and then save those logs before restarting L4 and attach them to this thread.

Can you temporarily disable your firewall to see if that is blocking the download ?

Sorry I should have mentioned to include both Logos4.log and Logos4Indexer.log, also yes if you have a firewall have you tried disabling it?

Next you need to find a way to make the firewall allow Logos4 clear access to the internet as it needs frequent access to check for updated resources, ideally automatically without you having to manually disable the firewall each time.

How you do that will very much depend on which version of which firewall you have.
