Is there an easier way?

Hi,

One of my most regular tasks is translations for my greek and hebrew classes. At present I use Mellel and copy in a verse of hebrew. I then footnote against each point within the hebrew text that I feel requires explanation and finally add my translation.

I've tried doing this task in Logos and it is easy to add a note to a verse which is my own translation and also to highlight points which are worth commenting on and add those comments as notes.

I have not found a way to print/export from Logos a readable version of my work. ie. I'd like to be able to print of 10-15 verses each followed by my own notes on that verse. Can this be done?

Hi John

If you have a notes document and the entire set of notes you want to print within that notes document then a "Print/Export" command would do what you are looking for - I think.

What you can't do is to select a subset of notes to be printed - which is, in my opinion, a limitation.

Does this work for you at all?

It almost works to print/export the notes but for the fact that the original passage is not included!

I can cut and paste it into the notes for each verse but it is a laborious task and only works reliably for the greek. Hebrew texts seem to get jumbled. Also if the text is just another note then it looses it's highlighting and icons. Maybe it just isn't possible?
