Layout suggestions

I don't recall seeing this particular issue dealt with when I've read folk's discussions about layouts.
Personally, I like the setup. It has potential.
There are two things I think that would be helpful:
1. Allow a user defined time to keep the layouts on the right side somewhat as a browser history setting- 0-X number of days.
2. Allow a right click option to save current layout as an already named layout.

1. I would say the snapshots provide this feature though less conveniently, after restoring any snapshot it floats to the top of the list as the most recent, and leaves the snapshots you don't reuse below to go away eventually and if you need to you can name the snapshot and erase it later if you are done using it (but then again there is no limit to how many saved layouts you can have)

2. Has already been implemented and will be included in an upcoming release, look for an 'Overwrite' option when you right-click on a saved layout.
