Logos 5 will not install, complains it cannot download a file

My main boot drive failed so I have to re-install Logos 5 on my PC. It went on alright until just after the part where it was downloading directX files and then a pop up appears to say that it fail to download a critical file and that's it. Is there a way I can find out what stalled the installation? Not sure why it wouldn't install now while it was working fine earlier.

There should be some Install & Setup files. If not, enable logging & repeat the installation.

Troubles I am having have forced me to reinstall Logos and I also had this problem. I solved it by downloading separately LogosPrerequisites.msi from option number one and manually installed this file. Then from option number two, I downloaded and installed Logossetup.exe. This got me past the problem you are experiencing. I was able to install Logos using option number two. However, my problem was not solved doing this. I still cannot get past the signing in stage, even when attempting to sign in offline. But if you try what I have done, you may get past this problem you have.
