Failed install and network install file.

I having problems with 51 SR1 Install and feeling very frustrated as this is a time waster.
"Setup was unable to download requested file" The file is a directX "install cab"
I have done all that was suggested in the support area under "unable to download required file or Resource"
including uninstalling my security program (nod32)
uninstall my accountability software
Nothing works
Is there somewhere on this site where I can get a full install network install file that requires no download to install off the internet?
thanks G

Try and install DirectX before installing Logos. The download is here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

I think you meant 5.2 SR-1 if you are installing from the Logos site.

Unfortunately, no.
But try to work around the message by pressing Cancel instead of OK (or vice-versa!) as the rest of the install may proceed.
Alternatively, if Logos 5 Prerequisites has installed (check in Control Panel >> Programs and Features) then try https://secure.footprint.net/logos-downloads/LBS5/Installer/5.2.0.0052/Logos.msi and run the msi.
EDIT: if the Directx download Mark suggests works OK, you can still download the logos.msi or re-run the normal Setup.

Is your issue now resolved? In a similar thread users are reporting that Logos have fixed the problem, so you can retry the installer.

Sorry for the frustration. There was a configuration error on our download server that prevented this file being downloaded.
It's now been corrected, so rerunning LogosSetup.exe will succeed.
