This is an excellent promotion. Any chance at something like this in December?
I will say that Logos will again do a Christmas special. If it is the same one as last year, we will have to wait and see.
That one was not without its problems. I doubt we will see it again. I would love to be wrong though.
I guess we will just have to wait and see. After all isn't anticipation part of Christmas?

tt was by far the best sale ever, I'm for a repeat.
It was a very good sale... that said I am not too sure I would take part in it again... I have most everything I need, the items I want mostly now are not yet released by Logos.

The 2011 Christmas sale was the best that I had seen over the 10+ years that I had been with Logos. Aside from it being such a good opportunity to buy things that don't usually go on sale, the concept of a 'store rebate' based on how much your purchased was at least in my view extremely unique to the Bible software world. I think it generated a lot of excitement. Great promotion.
As far as giving feedback that we would like to see it come back, I would suggest that whatever is going to happen this year was decided at least a number of weeks ago (possibly even last summer if the plans are substantial) and has been in the planning/preparation stages for some time.
So if this is not the type of promotion they are going to have this Christmas, the best you can probably do is start to register your input for the next.
I would love to see this promotion come back too. I did wonder (reading between the lines - so I may be wrong) that maybe Logos as a business was trying to raise a large amount of cash in a short space of time for one of its many projects - so that's why it offered such a good sale at that time. I hope I'm wrong and it comes back this year, although I doubt my wife / credit card would agree! 😦
I spent $12,000 when they did this promotion. I got a $6000 credit. I'm still paying on it. I decided to convert to digital format in December 2011 precisely because of this sale and after buying an iPad. Last year's sale was awesome also.
