Thanks for updates, but all I can see changed is the title added for each manuscript and publisher changed from Logos Bible Software to Lexham Press. Did I miss something?Brian W. Davidson said:

Seems that most of the Logos in-house resources including EEC, Faithlife SB Lexham and High Definition resources have all been rebranded as Lexham Press (just had 28 of these update on my Android tablet) and all including a link to www.lexhampress.com which seems to be a new URL not yet resolved from my current location on the east coast.... [:-*]

I'd be very surprised if this was the only change. Metadata changes are pushed several times a week, without needing resource updates.

I check all DSS manuscripts and I can't find the updated version for "Logos Bible Software. XJoshua. Bellingham, WA: Logos Bible Software, 2010." (LLS:XJOSHUA). This was updated as well? What shows the resource info?0

Matthew, depends on your study. In the NT, you have quite a bit to work with in comparing the text specifics. But in the OT, you're pretty much either going to look at the LXX / Peshitta or the Qumran Biblical. Or wade around Philo or float through the Targums.
Presuming your pennies, and OT study, I can't imagine forgoing it, though apparatus will show variances. My OT window has a much comparables as Logos can deliver.

So we have one resource still from Logos Bible Software and the rest from Lexham Press. Of course all of them are in the same series: Biblical Dead Sea Scrolls. Or maybe Logos forgot to update XJoshua too? Can we have some more input please? Martin.Denise said:

As I said above, Logos can push out metadata updates without needing to update the resource. It looks like you've missed that update for some reason. AFAIK there's no way to force metadata updates. Perhaps you need to restart for them to apply?

Thanks, Mark. Metadata update changes only the citation and copyright of resource (including author). We still don't have the copyright information within the resource itself like in all the others (in XJoshua we don't have: http://www.lexhampress.com. You may use brief quotations from this content in presentations, books, or articles. For all other uses, email us for permission: permissions@lexhampress.com etc.). This requires an update of the resource AFAIK. Martin.0

Judging from David Wilson's comment above, I think I did just spend some megs on Lexham re-branding. Luckily I don't keep much on my iPod or there'd be Lexham re-branding there too I guess. Their system's in its usual out-of-control mode. Unlike the Libronix boys who know how to operate.

However, please talk to each other internally. Time after time we've been promised that resource updates will be bundled and shipped once a week, and what happens? A tiny update with a long indexing from you Monday, and a tiny update with a long indexing from Louis Tuesday. Very unnecessary.

I don't think this has been promised, as many users want resources as soon as they are ready. You can do this now with settings within Logos, turn off automatically download updates, then turn it on when you want/download updates when you want.
