Logos 5 Crashing on Mac

Hello, when opening Logos 5 on Mac OSX (mavericks) logos is quitting unexpectedly. I have run the Logos logging utility and attached files. I would appreciate if some clever person can help me to resolve please.

Wayne, it seems to be crashing while trying to generate you Home Page, but why is beyond my ability to say.
First, try starting Logos without going to the Home Page. To do this hold down the CMD key when you click on the Logos icon. Continue holding the key until a dialog screen appears. Select Open to a blank layout and then Sign in.
See if this will get around the error and let you open Logos.
If it does, try a few things to see if they work. Then click on the Home Page icon in the upper left corner. My guess is it will crash after you do that. If so, probably one of the developers will have to look at your logs to identify what exactly is causing the problem. There have been a number of people having problems with Mavericks, so there may be someone who knows what to do (I am a PC guy so generally don't try to give advice to those of you with Macs).

Hi Mark,
thanks for your help. Opening logos in a blank screen worked and I was able to access the resources that I tried. When I hit the home button as you suggested the program crashed unexpectedly as before. Thanks for helping me get back up and going temporarily, I would appreciate if one of the Mac guys is able to assist further.
Thanks again

Wayne,
In looking at your logs, it looks like a problem displaying media on the home page. The problem might be with one of the specific images in the resources in your library, but it's hard to say from looking at the logs which one.
Would you mind zipping up this folder "/Users/waynekuypers/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/t43q866c.35n/HomePage/2013-11-20_5.2.0.52/" and posting the file here? it might give us a clue as to which image was bad.
Thanks,
Tom

According to 544310.aspx it's the Verse of the Day.
Try unchecking that option.

Update: I could open Logos without crashing, and I already had the Verse of the Day unchecked.
Off Topic: Tom, you need to add the new Academic Blog to the options.

Hi,
Unchecking verse of the day did the trick for me as well. No crashes anymore ...
Can you please let us know when we can -without risk of crashes- put this feature on again?
Thanks in advance,
Henk

Tom Philpott (Logos developer) reported in another thread that it has been fixed.
