Program is working until such time as I click on a word in the exegetical guide for analysis. When that happens, I get a message that there is an error with the program, and Windows shuts Logos down.
Matthew, welcome. We'll try to help, but would need to see log files. See http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging to find out how to enable permanent logging and attach the files to a follow up post. Once logging is activated, recreate the crash, then before trying to restart Logos put all the log files in a single .zip folder an attach it to a follow-up message.
