I keep getting an error has occurred message: line 388 (Pgs webresource.js) access denied. my program freezes up or is very slow when this occurs. I have 3.0 for windows
Terry, very few here still use Logos 3, so support here is going to be minimal. I checked the Support page (https://www.logos.com/support/logos3/windows) and did not find a reference to your error.
I have two suggestions:
Update your software to version 5 unless you have reason not to (including running on a PC with Windows XP).
Reinstall the software to see if this eliminates the problem. The support page above has info on how to do that and the link to the installer.
I keep getting an error has occurred message: line 388 (Pgs webresource.js) access denied
What are you doing when this occurs? Do you have v 3.0g? What is your operating system and version of Internet Explorer?
Hi Dave
I'm getting exactly the same error. I'm running version 3.0g with Windows 7 & IE9 with the compatible patch. The error occurs when I search for a passage - its as if the error is associated with one of the resources being searched. I am suspicious that IE is the problem as Windows Updater automatically upgraded me to IE11 & I had to uninstall my way back to IE9. Hope you can help as I would prefer to keep using this version.
Regards,
Andrew
It's possible that changing this setting may resolve the issue: http://stackoverflow.com/a/13315176/
Alternatively, is it possible to disable the "web" sections (e.g., sermons.logos.com, Graceway media) in the Passage Guide? (I don't have Libronix installed right now, and don't remember if/how those sections can be disabled/removed.)
Thanks Bradley. The stack overflow solution didn't work, but disabling the web resources search in File/Properties did.
Andrew,
Andrew, could you give more details how you disable the web resources search, problem is that File/Properties is dimmed?
Anatoliy,
You need to run a passage search first & then the properties tab will work.
It looks like I tried all the possible searches, passage, word, topic, just a general search but nothing makes File/Properties to go black, it is still dimmed.
Thank you very much for response anyway.

Are you on Windows 8, or running IE10/11 as that would account for it?
Dave, I am on Win 7 but IE is 11 (i do not use it).
Libronix depends on Internet Explorer and it is known to have problems with IE10/11 as these versions came out after support for Libronix ceased. You may be able to revert to IE9 if that was the previous version you had, and it will let Libronix work properly if you apply the fix mentioned above.
Dear friends, thank you very much for the attempts to help. Everything mentioned above tried and did no work. Still it is possible to use Logos even in this condition. Thanks again.
