I am getting a bit frustrated. I have the program, but nothing inside the program. It never started the index process. Have reinstalled numerous times.

I have the exact same problem..
After looking at your logs and doing some digging, it looks like you haven't ever activated the software with a serial number, which is required. Also, your logs suggest that you're trying to install an old version of the alpha.
Here's what I'd try:
1) Remove the app completely by removing the application bundle from the Applications directory AND by removing the Logos4 directory from /Users/robclark/Application Support.
2) download the latest version of the Alpha (http://www.logos.com/logos4mac) and copy the application bundle to the Applications directory on your computer
3) insert the DVD you received in the mail from Logos and just leave it in there. Don't attempt to install from it.
4) launch the application from the Applications directory.
5) When the app launches, it should detect the DVD in the drive. You should be prompted to enter your serial number. Enter it and your product should become unlocked.
OR
You can call customer service, read them your serial number, and they can activate your license for you.
Have done above. Able to open L4 app. However upon opening the library tab there are no resources present. Can you help?

It takes some time for L4 to load and index your resources. Has that completed? If indexing is taking place, you will see a little Logos icon on the right side of your Menu Bar. Hovering your cursor over that icon will give you an estimate of time remaining for the completion of indexing.

Indexing did not happen. I have put the disc back into the drive, double clicked and it now says installing resources. Praying that all is as it should be. I am really excited about using this program !!!!
