Manually Restoring Logos 5 on Clean Mavericks Drive

I am in the process of doing a clean install of OS X Mavericks which, for various reasons, will require me to 'manually' install all of my applications and data. So I am wondering what is the best way to do this for Logos 5. I use Logos extensively, and have invested significant time in customizing it to my personal preferences, and layouts. What is the best way to manually restore these settings? Thanks

Concerning your personal preferences, and layouts you should not worry. All your preferences are stored in the Icloud, and should sync back to your OX.

Thanks, I have looked this over at the suggestion of someone else, but it left me wondering if the method titled "Duplicate Logos Mac Installation" (at the bottom of the page) is an alternative to Logo's own guidelines about downloading every directly from their website?

That's what I thought (about syncing the layouts) but Logos support told me my latest sync was sometime in September, and I have made considerable adjustments since then. Is there a way to 'force' a sync to today's settings? Most of the time I quit Logos 5 it hangs or crashes ...

The wiki says that the method is "not supported." All that means is that if you get stuck attempting that procedure, Logos tech support won't necessarily help you out.

I never heard of this. This sync automatically, or you can press on it. As well, I think you know that you can save layouts

All your layouts should sync.

So this is an alternative to downloading it all from the Logos website?

Yes, because some people do not like to wait many hours of downloading and indexing.
