Holiday Sales on Logos 5 Base Package Upgrades?

I'm wanting to upgrade from Logos 5 minimal (although I have nearly 2,000 older Logos titles), to Logos 5 Platinum. I'm looking at $900 or so to make the jump. Do you all think there's any chance that a holiday sale will come along to provide a discount on the upgrade price? I'd hate to take the plunge then realize I'd just missed a holiday sale!

I, personally, would wait and see what the holiday sales (Day After Thanksgiving and Christmas here in the U.S.) have to offer. A sale on base packages does not seem out of the realm of possibility.

Upgrade prices rarely get a "bigger discount" as they're now based on what you already own. So my guess is no, there won't be sales on upgrade prices. I see others telling you there is the possibility but they are talking about BASE packages going on sale, and not what you're asking for "UPGRADE price" discount.

So to answer your question, NO, there won't be sales on UPGRADE prices. The last time Logos advertised a sale that was supposed to be the last time you ever saw those "DEEP" discounts it was just a marketing strategy to get people to upgrade to L5, but the prices still remain the same til this date based on what you already own and not some "DEEP discount sale" that supposedly you'll never see again in your life time.

In either case, wait for other sales that may come along during the holidays; you might be able to get cheap resources that might help you reduce the price on the Platinum package you want -- Or better yet, call your sales person so he/she can help you get the best discount possible so you can get the package that you want. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Black Friday sales are set to be announced this Friday. So at least wait until then.

Where did you hear the timing of this announcement? I have not heard yet.
