Payment Plan Fee

I have a question regarding the payment plan fee.  It says that there is a $5 fee for paying monthly.  Does the $5 get charged as a one time thing or is that $5 paid every time a monthly payment is made?

    It is $5 a month.

The $5 is very reasonable, it covers the hassle of breaking it up into multiple payments and the associated accounting. There is no interest charged (one can argue the finance charge is a sort of interest but on a large amount it would be a very tiny rate). Admittedly if you had a payment plan for a small amount it might seem outrage charge but it honestly is meant to offer people away to get items they normally couldn't afford. Yes one might argue it is far better to save up for what you want, but it is nice that Logos allows us to get resources and uses them while we are paying for them (and unlike a car that might be worn out by the time it's paid for your books are there always, even with the ability to sell them, although there are small fees for transferring the licences )...

It is possible to have multiple payment plans and get charged $5 a month for each, Logos prefers you combine them into one payment plan to save you money and save them the hassle of processing them. A call to Customer Service can set this up.

The other thing the payment plan fee helps cover is the cost to Logos from the credit card companies for processing your monthly payment.

Yes, and something new I discovered this year is that any credit card with a rewards plan costs the company even a bit more. Most people I know have some sort of rewards card.
