Well, S ... I'm not sure what your question is. If you're wondering if Logos regular price (slightly higher) is better than the competitor discount price (half), I don't think so. Half is half. The difference will buy you another commentary (maybe with linking too!).
But I've seen Logos offer Word at half (or approximately) several times; others can correct me, but it's one of the more discounted sets. Better to do the deal with Logos with its linking, searches etc.

True, but been a while I think, not that I look for it as I've owned Word license for a long time now. For OP's sake I reckon is about due to come up again for Black Friday Sale. That would fit OP's timetable nicely.
