bug in VoiceOver integration on iPad - skips ahead at page turn (often not always)

Hi,

I noticed that when using the iPads built in VoiceOver accessibility feature when the page turns often times but by no means always the reading voice skips ahead by a page or so. Mostly the feature works perfectly but perhaps one in 5 page turns jumps. This is easily overcome by a two find swipe down which causes it to jump to the top of the current page.

Also in the kindle app it is possible to select the sentence at which to start reading which enables one to skip tables printed on the page or pause read aloud to look up a definition and then continue on. Could Logos implement this?

This voiceover integration is awesome but not quite perfected... hopefully this could be worked on?

Cheers,

John

I also get this behaviour. [:(]

it's just the same on both Logos and Vyrso for the iPad (Mini in my case). It turns the page correctly,  but at the same time  the actual reading jumps a few pages ahead (and I think also occasionally back). It seems to happen fairly randomly, but I'd say it rarely reads more than five pages without it happening at least once. I've also noticed that it sometimes reads the same phrase or sentence  twice in succession.

As John points out, since the correct page is displayed, the two finger wipe takes the reading back to the correct place. However, I've been trying to use it to listen to books while driving to and from work.  To have to swipe it is distracting. Also, sometimes it's not clear whether  the book has changed topic, or the reader has just jumped ahead. Very annoying on what otherwise would be a great feature.

I think the problem is with Logos rather that IOS, because it works fine in Kindle for iPad.
