I would suggest a new feature. The minimizing / collapsing of panels.
For example:
(not minimized / collapsed)
(Panel with Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide minimized / collapsed)
This would give the possibility to hide/minimize parts of the screen that are not currently in use, so the space of the reading panels becomes larger. When you need the minimized/collapsed panels again, you can open them to their original size with a single click.
