I am repeatedly confused that I can't find my Logos app whenever I look for it in my long list of installed apps. And then I remember that it's called Bible and not Logos. Why is that?
Haha! I've have the exact same experience many times and wondered the same thing. Perhaps they are just trying to be more generic to attract a wider audience.

I believe that is the reason, if I remember correctly.
Lets confuse you more and have you instal Verbum....

OK, that makes sense. But I do wish there was some way I could rename the app on my Android devices, like we can rename app icons in Windows. Is there a way to do that? It's probably going to take me another dozen times of hitting my head against the wall thinking (where on earth did Logos go) before I remember it's called Bible not Logos. And I'd really rather it be called Logos, since it does so much more than just open up a Bible.

Yes! I would love that too!
I don't know of a way to do that off the top of my head (although since it's Android, I'm sure someone has come up with SOME way to do it!). Maybe it would be helpful to add a shortcut to the Logos app on your home screen? Then you wouldn't even need to go to the app list to find it. I have all of our apps installed on my devices for testing and I keep a folder on my home screen called "Logos" that has all the apps in it.
You can do this with a third party launcher. I like Nova launcher or Apex launcher.

I do have a shortcut on my home screen. That's what I use whenever I launch Logos.
The only time I ever need to go to the app list to find it is when I want to check to see if there are any updates (which I do sporadically, or whenever I see on the forums that there's been an update). It doesn't seem to check for updates automatically, unlike all my other Android apps. Is that the way it's supposed to work? Or am I doing something wrong?
