NICOT/NICNT Upgrade is Gone

I just looked and I can no longer find the 4 volume upgrade. What is someone who already has the 40 volumes supposed to do? I guess if I want them I have to purchase them separately.

It looks like Logos has included dynamic pricing with the NICNT/NICOT. This wasn't the case a few days ago. The difference is that the 4 volumes I am missing now cost $168 instead of $120.

A plea to Logos to bring the upgrade package back. Some grace period for those sitting on the fence (which includes me).

Do you mean https://www.logos.com/product/37455/the-new-international-commentary-on-the-new-testament-general-epistles or was it some other 4-volume upgrade package?

Looks like the price for that is now $131.82 instead of $120. But it's still better than buying all those volumes individually.

Graham, it was a different set.
The set you reference above is one of the new NICNT bundles Logos has put together (on the general epistles) on the back of the individual volumes being released.
The upgrade bundle Ronald was talking about, which does appear to have been pulled (and which I bought in July-12 for $119.95) from memory included Hosea and three other volumes I can't recall.

Guys, maybe the best thing to do is to buy the Hosea volume you're missing, and then replace your old volumes with the re-released new ones as you go...

It included John, James, Hebrews & hosea. I have older rversions of all except Hosea. I was waiting for the Black Friday deals to decide what to get . I guess I waited too long. Oh we'll, I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I have the NICOT/nicnt which many do not have.

Anyone here who would have something to say about the new Jn volume?: NICNT/OT upgrade question.

That sounds very wrong. Dynamic pricing should normally be much cheaper than an upgrade. The ones I've kept my eyes on have been close to a third of the prepub price.
Perhaps some volumes have been updated, so that the $168 price includes more than 4 volumes? If not, I suspect Logos has made a mistake somewhere. I suggest an e-mail to Phil or Dan.
I also suggest waiting for the next sale.

I couldn't comment on the differences, but if there's a passage from the new John volume you'd like to consider, I'd be happy to post an extract for you to look at.

Sometime last week before the Black Friday sales were posted I totaled the cost of the 4 volumes in the upgrade: to buy them individually would cost $180 compared to the 119.95 upgrade cost.
I don't think there are any additional volumes in the full set other than the 4 that were included int he upgrade because the full set has 44 volumes and the original set had 40. I do hope that Logos has made a mistake in their dynamic pricing.

How true.
There have been times that I have purchased a resource that I don't need at that time out of concern that it might not be available when I do need it, and several times I have been right.

Comparisons to Jn volumes from other recent sets, would be interesting, such as John (Believers Church Bible Commentary), Eerdmans Critical Commentary: The Gospel and Letters of John, volume 2: The Gospel of John and The Gospel of John: A Commentary. I don't need a comparison to the older NICNT Jn volume.
What status does J. Ramsey Michaels give Jn 21? Does he decide that it's not original?

The study of all the Gospels, especially the Gospel of John, has been significantly enriched by the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

I sent an email earlier today. I'm sure Logos is very busy today so hopefully I'll receive a response soon.
