I have looked at previous posts where a user has had the "cannot write to ... Verify you have access" error, and I believe my issue is different.
I have checked and confirmed that I am the owner of the Logos folder in AppData. I also get the same error regardless ofwhether I run Logos as an admin or not.
I run Logos off a USB stick because my Tablet no longer has enough space to keep all the data. I bought a 64 GB stick about a week ago, installed all of Logos on it, and it was working as desired, including at least one small update.
But then a few days ago when it attempted to install an update I got an error saying that logos could not write to US-en/logos.exe.mui, and that I need to verify I have access. I have tried all sorts of things since then.
I have uninstalled, and reinstalled All 12 GB of logos data in my library, and had the entire thing index.... TWICE. I have tied using a different computer, just in case there was a problem with my tablet' setup. To do this I had to completely wipe *that* computer's version of logos because that was the only way I could get logos to update to the version on the stick (even if I ran the update.exe or the original installer from the stick, logos would update the main one on the computer,)
:Logs below of the most recent time I tried to run the update. I am running Win 7.
