Installing New Books

Y'all:

I purchased on set of books--Jesus and the Feasts--on pre-pub, but it only came out on CD. I received the CD, but there's no unlock code, either online, or on the CD. When I try to install it, it wants to install Logos 3. If I try just copying the library files to the right directory, Logos 4 doesn't recognize them (IE, won't unlock them). The lack of a feature to unlock a book, assuming it's all going to be "in the cloud," is a bit of a problem, I think.

What if the book in question isn't, apparently, "in the cloud?"

I emailed tech support on Monday--no answer yet from that direction.

I have two more prepubs that I received emails for yesterday--there's unlock codes for them on the web, but the update wants logos 3, not 4. How do I go about unlocking these files in Logos 4? Again, the servers at Logos apparently don't know how to handle this situation--maybe I should cancel all my prepubs, since they don't seem to be working right?

I remember seeing a similar problem yesterday. I think you have to call customer service and they can update your license files.

There should be a serial number or unlock code because activating with L3 makes the licence info available to L4, and you should then receive a download.

Contact Customer Support.

The scan command in L4 is the best way to accomplish this, but you must have a licence for the resource!

I received my IVP books yesterday and the CD had no serial number on it....I had to call support and after waiting for quite a while, she answered and I had her email me the code so I wouldn't make any mistake typing it in....I guess somewhere someone forgot to put the sticker on the package...that's too bad since they are so busy right now and it makes it hard on them plus me having to waitl...

One thing to be careful about in regard to the IVP collection was that when I got my CD, I didn't see at first that the sticker was on the plastic wrapping on the CD. The reason for this is that it was put on the back, and the sticker was clear and the letters were pretty small. It was only after I couldn't find the serial number that I went back to the rubbish bin where I had thrown the wrapper that I pulled it out and found it.

This exact same thing happened to me installing the IVP collection yesterday; back to the trash can to find the cellophane wrapper with the sticker on it.
