ESV Study Notes Not Updating

I took advantage of the Black Friday deal and got the ESV Study Notes and a few other resources. Those other resources have appeared on my MAC Logos but not the ESV Study Notes. However, the Study Notes do appear on my Logos for iPad.

I have searched this forum and have tried the following fixes: "Update Now" and "Update Resources" I have restarted my Logos and my MAC. So far nothing. Am I missing a step here?

I do have the Logos logo in my status bar saying "Downloading Updates (0% of 212.6 MB)" however, after sometime this just goes away.

This probably means the indexer is crashing which prevents the download. Please enable permanent logging, then restart you computer to ensure that the download attempt is properly logged. Then, after the logos in the status bar goes away, upload the logs here. You can click "How to ask for help", below, to get instructions.

Thanks Mark. I followed the instructions on the Wiki and got the number "1" back when I ran the confirmation. He is my issue. Under Library/ Application Support/ there is no Logos. I will continue to look for it but this is where I am right now.

I finally found the folder. Seems I have 3 different [Application Support] folders on my MAC.

Thanks, Shane. I've checked the logs, and the problem is not in fact due to the indexer crashing. I suspect that it's more of a connectivity problem that is affecting Logos on the Mac (it's caused by a bug in Mono, which is used on Macs, but not on Windows). The Logos engineers are aware of the problem, and have promised a fix in the next update.

You could try and manually download the file by clicking on the link below, and saving it to a temporary folder. Then type scan c:\path\to\folder (replacing that with wherever you put the downloaded file). Then restart Logos. That will work if Logos has downloaded the licence but not the resource. It won't work if Logos hasn't been able to download the licence.

That shouldn't be happening. It looks like there's a problem with that specific resource then. I'll try and report it to Logos, but I doubt it will be fixed before Monday.

Mark, not sure what happened but Logos told me I had updates waiting. Once complete the notes were finally in my resource library. I am not going to question it. However, I wanted to once again say thanks.
