maybe the keywords such as "subject:" have been translated - I don't know of an official repository of localized commands/keywords etx, but the translation page may be a good way to look for the suggestions made to Logos.

I wish I could help, but without having the Dutch interface on my computer, I can't check this. Perhaps some of the users in the Nederlands can speak to this.

You led me in the right direction! I had to translate subject in 'onderwerp'. The problem is however that subject is also a current Dutch term. I don't know how the others grammatical terms have been translated. Perhaps Logos has any information about that!

you may find the answer by logging on to the Crowdin translation site http://crowdin.net/translate/logos-desktop-ui/31/en-nl - as I said, it's not an official list of what Logos did, but the suggestions there often have been put into Logos.
I find person=persoon and subject=onderwerp there.
It's a weird thing to translate commands for a software, but Microsoft led the way many years ago (I'm still lost when I have to build simple formulas in a localized version of Excel - IF and LEFT come naturally and somewhat read like Basic Code, but it's a nuisance to write ZÄHLENWENN instead of COUNTIF and my memory for localized functions stops there) including the most unfortunate idea not to provide a bilangual software that understands the localized commands and a default (i.e. English) command version as well. /rant

I know the site. Somewhat earlier I even helped with translations, but I didn't realize that grammatical terms in search formulas have also been translated. It's indeed somewhat confusing. A little bit more explanation or information from Logos would be welcome!

Currently clause search will use whatever locale you are set to. This worked fine when we first did this as we really only had Spanish, and it was completely translated. This can be confusing for other languages that have been translated via crowdin, as they might in one release use the English, then in the next release someone provided a translation during the beta cycle which we pulled in, and now the English doesn't work and only the locale's translation does. What we should've done is allow the clause search fields to fall back to English always, especially once I hooked up translations via crowdin. This is the way the search fields behave. For example if you are in Italian you can search where Jesus said "blessed" by searching for "ParoleDiCristo:blessed", or you could search "WordsOfChrist:blessed" and get the same results.
I'll make a case to add this ability to fallback to the English. There could be a reason we specifically didn't do this that I'm unaware of.

I think it's good to have two language choices in the Clause Search.
I also hope that the Dutch user-created UI-translation will be overviewed by a native professional. Some words are difficult to translate, specially syntactical terms. For now some words are wrongly translated. I'll do my best to give new translations, but I'm not sure about some terms. I hope the WIVU syntactical database will be available soon, as it was in Logos 3! That was a Dutch-German project of high quality and that guys have excellent Dutch translations.Hans
