Windows 7 Taskbar Icon issues

Any idea what is happening? The icon on the taskbar keeps changing to a generic Windows icon. I can unpin the icon, open Logos, and pin the icon again. It is good for a while, but eventually reverts to the generic icon. Thank you all.

It was supposed to be fixed in v5.2. What is your version and operating system?

I have 5.2 SR-1 (5.2.0.0052) and Windows 7 Professional.

I don't know that it will fix the issue but update to the latest version 5.2 SR-3 e.g. restart Logos or use the update now command.

I just noticed that there is a new update, which I will have to apply later today once I am back on my office wifi. Thank you, Dave!

This is still happening for me on the Start menu (though not the Taskbar), every time I update to a new version. Happened yet again on the update to 5.2 SR-6:
Windows 7 Ultimate, SP-1
EDIT: I should point out, if it wasn't obvious already, that I always edit the name of the icon to "Logos 5" instead of "Logos Bible Software 5" because it fits better and looks cleaner. I hope this isn't what is causing the icon not to update for me correctly. It shouldn't make any difference, and if it does, then that's a problem. All the icons on the start menu are supposed to be renamable.

The easiest way to fix the issue where the Taskbar icon goes white is to unpin it and then re-pin it. Right-click it and select Unpin Program from Taskbar, and then re-pin it. This is best done when Logos is open because then when you unpin the icon it doesn't disappear altogether.
Rosie, I'll see if someone can test what you're doing to see if we can replicate the behavior.

I know how to fix it each time. But it's a pain that every time we upgrade to a new version of Logos we have to unpin and repin the icon. This doesn't happen with other software, so I don't know why Logos can't fix this.
