After getting increasingly frustrated with the instability of Logos 5 for Mac, I am wondering if I should run Logos 5 for Windows on my MacBook Pro using VMware. Has anybody done that before?

I was using VMware Fusion to run Windows / Logos 4 while L4 Mac was still in Beta. I had no issues. Since you will be operating in a "virtual" environment, Logos may run slower than it would in a native Windows environment, but the performance I experienced was pretty decent. If your Mac has a SSD, you should have much better performance in that virtual environment.
I was using Windows 7 and Logos 4. I have no experience using Windows 8 and Logos 5 on a virtual machine.
Sorry you are having stability issues with L5 Mac.
I've run Logos in Fusion and had no issues but I do have 16GB RAM. The main issue I would foresee is do you have enough hard drive space and Ram. If you have both of those you should be good. I would set the VM up with a minim of 4GB RAM.
Has anybody done that before?
Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Mac#Need_Logos_4_PC_feature.3f with virtual machine information.
Observation: Oracle's VirtualBox is free while Parallels and VMWare require license purchase.

Great! Thanks so much. This is a superb link.
I am now in touch with Brad about my stability issues. If no resolution is found, I will use virtualization as I have enough HDD space and RAM.
