Both the "preferences" and "tools/program settings" show nothing. I downloaded from on line. I have Alpha 8 upgrade. How can I tell that my download us fully complete? I have a some of my library, but not sure all of it.
Do you have a blue Logos icon in your Menu Bar? If so, L4 is downloading and indexing your resources. This process can take up to 20 hours (or more). If you hover over the icon, it will give you an estimate (read rough guess) of the time remaining.
In the mean time, you might visit the two sites listed in my signature. Also at the top of the Logos 4 Mac forum, you will find some other interesting and helpful links.

Thanks Jack. I have read the other posts as you suggested. I have no blue icon on the menu bar. I didn't see any info on how to know that my download is complete up to A8. I guess I will have to wait and see what comes down the road in updates.
Richard... Settings are not yet implemented in the alpha version, follow through some threads in the forum about alpha releases and you will have a clear idea of what is working and what is not.
