Thanks so much for making so many new books affordable to me in the last two months! I did an upgrade from Libronix 3 Gold to Logos 4 Platinum. In this upgrade I got about 400 new books for around 400 dollars, and many of these were high quality books not just books that are thrown in to a package that I will never use but solid books such as commentaries, like Pillar, Baker Exegetical and more!
And then you came along and did a Christmas sale too! I was able to pick-up 2 reference books for 50 dollars that are normally 60 dollars each.
My only complaint has to do with the Word Biblical Commentary set, at 400 dollars, I have seen other places putting that on sale for 699.00 and selling it out. Which did not bother me because I still could not see putting out that kind of money for it, but now you gone and done it, to see it at only 399.00, and to be out of money was a little hard to take!!! You really know how to hurt a guy, I will be hoping too see this come on sale again in the spring, or better yet, can I get a rain check! [;D]
Once again thanks so much for your sales, I can hardly believe I was able to pick up so many great books at such low prices, please keep up the good work!
By the way I was a hardcore Libronix 3 user and spent money on Logos Camp 1 and 2 dvds, and all the manuals that I could get. I loved Libronix 3, and to me I learned more faster with it then I ever learned in school.
As a result, when Logos 4 came out, I bought it just for the new resources, and when I first started trying to use Logos 4, I hated it. I couldn't do anything with it compared to Libronix 3, but after about 3 weeks I started to see that If I forgot about the things that were missing in Logos 4 and started to focus on what was there, that I was able to do many of the things that I once did with Libronix 3, and sometimes I could do even more and the time to learn how to use Logos 4 was much quicker than Libronix 3.
Once everythng is done, Logos 4 will once again increase my ability to study the scriptures in more depth, in less time and it is not going to take as much of my time to learn how to use as Libronix 3 did! Of course this might mean there will be alot more "power" users with Logos 4, which to me is a good thing!
So once again thanks for the great sales and for having a dream of making bible study easier for more people!
In Christ,
Jim
