POSSIBLE BUG: PB didn't appear to compile correctly

I compiled this collection of writings into a Personal Book (PB). I have used the following technique before without problem, this time it did not seem to handle the Headers properly (this is the largest book I have compiled this on, it is 778 pages in Word).

Note the picture - in Word, you can see on the navigation pane that it is one Header 1, and a whole bunch of Header 2's - the first header 2 is "What to do when things don't make sense in life". IMHO the nav pane in word shows the headers are set correctly, yet look at the left side of the picture, at the TOC in the compiled PB - the Header 2 "What to do..." appears to be show as a header 2 and header 3 under Msgr. Charles Pope, followed by a bunch of other header 3's which are in fact header 2. This happens throughout the document, exactly as in this first example - a header 2 is repeated, then a bunch of header 2s will fall under it as header 3's instead of header 2's.

Is this a bug or something I did wrong? Thanks!

I've had some problems with this is the past, particularly when copy/pasting HTML into Word. If you can upload a fragment of the .docx file (enough to see the error a couple of times), we'll probably be able to diagnose it and offer a workaround. It's usually caused by Style Names and Style Levels being inconsistent.

Thanks Mark. I am having trouble getting a small sample that exposes the problem. Somewhere around page 400 or later the problem kicks in and affects the whole document. It might be related to a multiple line designation as level 2, but I am not sure. So I'll keep playing with it, trying to narrow down the problem.

I did fail to mention there were no warnings or errors other than a complaint about unused font that I see a lot.

I just compiled this document, and you're doing nothing wrong - but nor is Logos, either.

If you hover carefully over the level 2 headings, you'll see that the say something like "What to do when things don't make sense in life - 23rd Sunday Ordinary Time B Ephatha Eyes Opened". In other words, Logos has inserted these extra headings that group together a certain number of your headings, rather like it does for the Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary where you have headings like "Persepolis (place) - Peshitta".

I've not come across this personally in a PB, but there must be a limit to the number of headings of the same level that you're allowed to use. I don't know what that limit is, but if you don't like Logos creating it's own groups, then you would have to create your own manual groups that fit within the limit.
