Since I updated to iOS 7 for iPad, simple highlights and notes in my text take several minutes to appear. I deleted and reinstalled the app and no change. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks!

How large is the note file? (Act like you are going to print it from L5 to get a page count).

Also, try creating a brand new note file and adding a note within a completely unused resource. I bet you will see a major difference.

I noticed the same delay. Kevin Byford (Logos employee on the forums) suggested I send my logs to Logos support, which I did. I was told there was an error in the current release and they were working to fix it.

It may or may not be related. I don't have any of these problems.

I've noticed occasionally slow responses from the latest version of the iOS app. Sometimes there's a reasonable delay in a highlight I've made showing on screen, or being able to click on one of the icons down the left hand side (Home, Library, etc.) It happens infrequently, but is noticeable when it does.

I'm using the latest version of the app on an iPad mini Retina, and my highlighting note files are by resource, so not overly long.

Is there a way to have the Bible open in one pane and a blank note document in the other?  If not, that would be a huge benefit for taking the iPad to church with me and using it exclusively.

    Hi Rick

See my comment in the other thread at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/78599/550075.aspx#550075

Does this explain what you need?

Graham, perhaps that might work if you create a generic note file beforehand.  I will give that a shot and let others know what I did to get it to work.  Thanks.

Update:  Right now I can't make it work and bring up a Sermon Note unless I link it to a particular verse.  Still learning, so back to watching the video one more time.  I had to go to the Home Page, then select iPad Notes.  I changed the title to Sermon Notes, then, added an entry for today and I could type anything the Pastor used as his 3 main points with the verses.  Not sure if it will tie this to those verses or not, but, I will give it a try Wednesday Night.

    Thanks again.

Either you have misunderstood Graham, or I have misunderstood you. Here is a screenshot of what I think you are asking to do... Bible on left, unattached, newly created note on right:
