So, is there any use in using this method for reporting other types of errors? Such as wrong references?
I recently submitted an error--I long since have forgotten where--MacArthur's Study Bible I think. There was a reference to "verse 2" which linked to Acts 2:2 instead of the very obvious choice, Galatians 2:2. Or something like that. I got the usual notice that the error would be sent to the Publisher. Is that link error a publisher error? Or a Logos reference error?
My point is, is there value in using the typo error report for non-typo errors?

Most every (if not all) hyperlinks are Logos responsibility. They should be notified of these errors, with the exception of Vyrso edition resources (those are auto generated, and Logos doesn't fix those errors... They are "bare bones" ebooks with auto generated links thrown in). How to report wrong links, on the other hand... I <think> I remember an employee saying to go ahead and report link errors the way described above. A post in the forums is always ok too.
I am reading the NET Bible and there are a lot of typos. I have been reporting them. Are these the results of erroneous files given to Logos from the publisher or are they the work of Logos? I am typically very understanding of typos, but in this case it really bothers me to see such carelessness with God's Word.

It is a Logos error, and it is Logos' responsibility to fix it. However, the email you received is probably an auto-generated form letter.

Other qualification:
Don't know whether it is necessary or not, but I usually select the typo and a small amount of context. Logos automatically included all the selected text in the report.
At lest in the Mac version the "Should read" field is not automatically populated, so I usually copy the typo with a little context and paste it into that field. Then just make the correction in the pasted text and attach any needed explanation in the next field.

I have never thought about that before. It sounds like a good idea but it may not be necessary.
