Logos 5 crashing regularly: MBAir (late 2010)

Hi folks,

My Logos is crashing regularly - two or three times per day. Sometimes this comes by way of a lock up, in which everything Logos becomes inactive (but I can still see the program window); on other occasions the whole program crashes and I get the "Logos has quit unexpectedly - Restart". It seems the program has become unstable.

I have attached some log files 9at least I think they attached...) for your reading pleasure ;-)

I would also advise you to contact Logos customer service directly, despite the time difference. They may put you in touch with their technical people.

Is the idea to attach the .zip file? This doesn't seem to work - the file is selected but nothing shows up. I wondered whether it had worked...

Yes - save the zip file to your desktop.

Use the paper clip above

From the pop up window...

First use 'Choose File' to locate the zip file on your desktop.

Then use 'Insert' to place the zip file in your message.

(The resulting addition will look a bit strange but will be ok)

You may need to wait a few seconds while the software adds the attachment.

I sometimes need to click on "Insert" again to make the attachment load.

Finally delete the zip file from your desktop.

David, do you allow your MBA to sleep with Logos open? There is currently a bug with wake from sleep in the Mac version which is to be fixed in 5.2a. The fix will be tested in the upcoming beta and then incorporated in the stable release.
