Opening Scripture in a Fixed Layout

Hello,

When I open Logos 5, I can type in a scripture verse(s) and get a special layout. However, every time I have to add tabs like "Copy Verses" and "Sermon Starter Guide" and a certain "search." How can I make the layout open the same way every time I open it when I type in a Scripture verse?

I have a MacBookPro (Late 2008) 8GB RAM 2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo

Thanks,

Jim Erwin

I'm not completely sure I know what you are asking, but if I do, the simple answer is this: get the layout like you want it, then save it as a named layout. Then open that first and type the verse you want in the Bible window therein.

Actually you can't do this - but you can do better  :-)

First set up your screen(s) the way you want them.

Go to 'Layout' on the top right of the Panel.

Hover over the latest 'Snap Shot' and choose 'Save As' and give your layout a name.

Once you have done this the name will appear in the left hand column of the 'Layout' window.

    Now your workflow changes...

    Open Logos

    Select your layout.

Enter your Bible verse in the appropriate panel.

    Open Logos

    Select your layout.

Or go to Program Settings and tell Logos to always open to that layout.
