Unsubscribed in Logos-language means you WANT emails.

What can I say?  'Pride goesth before the fallen.'  (or something like that).

I happily bragged that MY email inbox hadn't seen a marketing email in years!  Those unchecked email-subscribes where POWERFUL. Almost like a magic spell.

But today, the prideful fell.

It was a CP I already bid on (with a successful price). So I canceled the CP.  Best to let pride get in the way of common sense.

I really wonder what language Logos staff speaks.  It's like the Logos motto 'fire someone today' got translated into 'fire a customer today'.

Oh, well. At least I still have my pride.

it is one of the most misquoted verses in the Bible:

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction,
And an haughty spirit before a fall.

other than that, I totally agree with you: "unsubscribe" on Logos site does not mean a thing. have had a problem with their marketing emails arriving despite everything being unchecked.for a very long time. I finally gave in and signed up for a few to qualify for a promotion. I figured, they are coming anyway, might as well get something in return.

Thank you toughski!  I plan to check up on that word 'destruction' too (Dahood/Ugarit).
