Still not resolved cannot install Logos 5

Supposedly installed but then Logos flash screen opens then shuts That's it
running Windows 8
I have tried before to get this resolved - but still waiting for response since September

Hi Christopher - and welcome to the forums.
From the log it looks as though there is an issue with the Logos.dll file.
Can you try repairing "Logos 5 Prerequisites" in the Control Panel?

How did you contact Logos? By email (which is the worst way to get help from Logos)? By phone? By forum?

This is similar to, but not the same message as in this thread --> http://community.logos.com/forums/p/73182/538535.aspx, but worthwhile trying to repair "Logos 5 Prerequisites" as Graham indicated.
Else check Control Panel >> Programs and Features for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x86 redistributables or Visual C++ 2010 x86 redistributableDave

This remains unresolved
I have tried every which way to install/ reinstall/ uninstall this program.
Whilst it will load the prerequisites and appear to install Logos 5 after the flash screen displaying the logo it disappears and nothing happens. It disappears from the task manager list of running programs at the same time.

I have found Logos customer service to be excellent IF you call. Email is by far the worst way to get help. Even the email you showed us says: don't reply, this account isn't monitored. You just need to bite the bullet and give them a call. They won't bite. [;)]
