Brothers,
Is there way to get a list of the most frequently used words and the count of their appearance in a book? I am in Chronicles and I'd like to see a list of words used in the book to help with getting the theme(s).
Thank you in advance.
Hi Chris - and welcome to the forums.
I would try a Word List and then sort by count.
Screenshot below is from doing this for 1 Chronicles in the NRSV
If this doesn't make sense, please post back

Graham,
Thank you Sir for that. I had just found an article from Morris Proctor so I was in the middle of doing this when you replied.
It seems that the word list, as generated, it not much more than just that, a word list? What I mean is, it appears that there is no way to see an itemization of the words or any of the other features that are available in some of the different areas? For example if I wanted to see more about usage of "David" I cannot do it from this list? I am guessing I would have to copy/paste the lemma into a word search and then narrow it down to Chronicles?
Also, is there a way to narrow this search down to just nouns?
Hi Chris
Yes, that's about right
This makes it much easier! Now we can use a morph search (the reason I didn't mention this before is wildcard searches are expensive - they take a long time - but limiting to a particular form removes that problem)
The morph search looks something like:
(You type "@" in the search box to get the drop-down)
The results are:
If you then click the analysis button you get
You can group results by dragging the column header to the space at the top
Hope this helps
That is great!
Thank you!
Chris
You are very welcome.
