Any advise on how to get a Bullet Point Outline for a book of the Bible?

Hi All,

Ive just completed teaching the Pentateuch to a small group of men. I want to do a review to help pull it together. Is there a way to list all the topics in an outline or something? Im thinking of like an index or something? This will allow me to scan through touching upon each item in order.

I do have the first resource. Those could definitly be helpful. I did locate this http://books.bibleoutline.org/genesis/5.htm. Its the format I was looking for. It would be great if I could do it all in Logos.

You could:

1. Write down your own headings and subheadings that you used and put them in bullet point format so it'll match what YOU taught.

2. You can use the Bible Guide's outlines that Graham suggested, just add the bullet points.

3. You can look up some Study Bibles (e.g. ESV Study Notes). They have some succinct outlines in Roman Numeral form. Just high light the first Roman Numeral and it'll automatically highlight the rest; then go to your bullet point format, click on it and it will convert from Roman Numeral to Bullet Point.

Or 4. Some Bible Handbooks or Surveys have other succinct or detailed outlines that can be used, just switch the Roman Numerals to Bullet Points.

Logos has the following resources:

Both are very good. Nelson's tends to stick more to relatively simple outlines that follow the text, whilst the Outline Bible tends to use alliteration (notice 'brute creature' vs 'blessed creature', and 'image of God' vs 'instructions from God'). It provide outlines that might preach well, sometimes 're-arranging' a chapter thematically so that it fits the outline. Nelson's doesn't have a Bible index, which is annoying, but I like them both.
