Downloading and saving books on sd card
I was wondering is there any way to download and save books on my sd card rather than internal memory on my samsung galaxy tab?

Hi Mitchell and welcome to the forums.
Currently the only way to do that is by rooting your tab. There is no way to do it without rooting. I rooted my tablet (an older Acer Iconia A500) and moved my fairly large library to the external SD card and it is working fairly well. Logos will not support though a Logos installation on a rooted device as far as I know.
Grace and peace!

How can I do this on my ASUS tablet? Is rooting still necessary? How do I point the Logos software to the SD card? Thanks,

Hi Mike,
Yes, rooting is still necessary but I don't know any details on your other questions.

Currently looking at a Samsung Tab 3 10.1 to use with Logos for preaching/teaching. I was expecting to be able to use the SD card to store logos books [a lot of my work is in parts of the world where internet access is patchy at best] and this seemed to be confirmed when I read in the FAQ
"What are the system requirements?
Any Android 2.2 or newer device should work. The app requires about 20MB free space on the device. An SD card must be present."
Why does the Android have to have a SD card if not for storing data?
Is there an app that allows the Android to "see" the SD card as part of its main memory; ie. allowing the OS to see the SD card like a rooted machine?

This is a common issue with Android Software... other Bible software makers(like WordSearch) have the same issue. The only one I found who lets you store your library to a external SD card, without rooting is OliveTree who have been in the Mobile Bible Software probably the longest. So it is possible...
