Thanks very much! The book by Frank Viola should be a good read. [:D]
Thanks Floyd. I finally broke down and installed a Kindle app on my devices to take advantage of these deals not offered by Vyrso.

Or a good listen (hint, hint).
Peace, Bruce! Please tell us how it works for you! If it's not too complicated .... on my iPad2 .......... Perhaps I'll do the same! They say, "Imitation is the highest form of flattery!" eh???!!!

The app is a good reader. I generally only pick up those resources when they aren't carried by Logos/Vyrso... As an added bonus, sometimes there are audio book tag along offers. One of the free ones mentioned above has the companion audio book for $2.99 once you purchase the book (in this case, for free).
I know that Logos is watching the audio book market... At one time I didn't think I would like them... but I really do.
Thank you very much indeed! *smile*
Thanks!!
Thanks Floyd!

Milford, it was far easier than I expected. This was my first time and within minutes the book was downloaded with no problems. I would encourage you to do so as well and let us know how it goes.
I think I'll do it this evening, my Good Wife helping me! *smile*
Did you have to give them a credit card?
I established an Amazon account a while ago and Kindle is based upon this. I didn't give one to set this up but I probably did before when I initially set up the account. I could be wrong but I think it works similar to Logos that way.

I downloaded these books on Kindle reader, too. I made my account some time ago but never gave my credit card. Not needed.

It is required in the States.
... aaaahhhhhh! I SEE, said the Blind Man! *smile*
Bruce, did you use Amazon.com OR Amazon.ca
If you used Amazon.ca, did they require a credit card???
Psalm 29:11

I used Amazon.com but I do have accounts in both. If I purchase something I usually use Amazon.ca but these were free so I didn't worry.
Hey, Bruce! *smile* I AM learning all the time!
These are different AND separate accounts? Right? OK!
I am no expert on this but I use the same login and password so I think they are different accounts.
Different? *smile* I would expected "same" ...
......... but, how can I argue .......... they're your accounts, eh???!!!
*smile*

Vyrso should definitely offer these! What happened to those 25,000 ebooks they promised a couple of years ago?
A comparison of order histories would verify this
I did check this yesterday but didn't realize that digital orders are found in a different location. I can now confirm that they are different although I use the same login and password for both.
Bump - for those who may have missed this yesterday - only a few more hours to go.
What happened to those 25,000 ebooks they promised a couple of years ago?
I think that some publisher agreements have been more difficult to acquire.

But even with such agreements, there seems to be a bottleneck somewhere. E.g. We see it nearly everyday regarding David C. Cook: It seems there's a splendid relationship, the publisher churns out a multitude of books and has all of them in ePub format, but somehow only half of them (no descernable pattern) end up in Vyrso, which we only see when we look up a book that goes for free and find it didn't make it to Vyrso. Same with Crossway.
I expect the decision as what is available in Vyrso is made before DCC's decision as to what books are available for free. As best I can tell, those books that are available in Vyrso and are offered for free by DCC are free in Vyrso. Has anybody seen an exception to this pattern?
I wonder if it is DCC or LOGOS who makes the decision as to what books make it into Vyrso?

That's what I described as a "bottleneck". Why not have all of them?
I have asked for clarification.
For most publishing partners such as David C. Cook or Crossway we strategically hold ebooks from their catalog in hopes of signing new agreements to sell their titles in Logos. As you may assume, these agreements take time, and don't happen overnight. Our team will continue to work hard to get more of these ebooks into your libraries. Let me know if you have any additional questions!
