I'm curious about this as well. The only thing I've found so far is that Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are Island groups in the Philippines (which you may have already known).

As you have probably already done, performed a Google search for "A of BC Church Philippines" and received multiple hits for Baptist Churches in the Philippines, but nothing that looked like A of BC.

Thanks for trying. The source of the name is the Denomination List of the World Christian Database at Gordon-Conwell Seminary. While there are a number of duplicates and a number for which I can find only directory entries (Yellow Pages type) - this is the first church that I simply can't find or figure out what the abbreviation stands for. And George, thanks for leading me to one not on the list.

Hi MJ,
First, you should know I took an indirect approach to solving this riddle. FaceBook nothing, Twitter interestingly gives this: ph has three main islands (bc archipelago) luzon, visayas and mindanao. city of manila is in luzon, laguna is a province in luzon. Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mindanao Also under Wikipedia Luzon article I found this assertion: The major religion present in the island is Christianity, the Roman Catholic Church being the major denomination. Other sects include Protestantism, the Philippine Independent Church, and Iglesia ni Cristo.[14] Indigenous traditions and rituals are also present.
I know several Phillippinos from work I asked one of the Christian ones she said there was a ton of churches in the above islands and she was unfamiliar with any that identified themselves in the way you describe. Sorry for another dead end. But, I'll be researching along with you in hopes of finding what you seek.

I have a Catholic friend in the Philippines whom I could ask.
EDIT: Never mind. I figured it out. I googled churches Luzon Visayas Mindanao and found several mentions of ABCLVM (Association of Baptist Churches in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao) in this Wikipedia page, including the history of splits involving it.
I'm 99.99% certain that's the one you're looking for.

Thank you Rosie ...I can now complete the first page of my denomination-website-creed-position papers list[B]

Association of Baptist Churches?
I can't find any obvious hits.
I need to quit talking to my kids while I am posting. Rosie figured it out before I got back to the post.

That happens to me from time to time. Now I've developed a new habit when I'm taking a long time to finish a post. Before posting it, I open up a new browser tab to the thread in question and check to see if anyone else has already answered the question. If not, I go ahead and hit Post in my original tab.
Then again, this doesn't happen as much to me anymore, since I'm not answering as many questions as I used to.

MJ will this be something you release in PB form?
L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

Yes, I've already released a sample and will have a bit more of the L3 creeds back in before making an official release. I still have some issues on how to distribute such a large document as a PB ... the mechanism that worked well in L3 is no longer available.

Graham answered Lynden who presented a similar question here http://community.logos.com/forums/p/78720/550572.aspx#550572
Also, you have also found out about a church by the name First Baptist Church of Manila, said to have just over 400 adherents. This church has a facebook page.
