Removing Highlights
Is there any way to remove all highlights of a certain style? I did a study of the places Jesus went, saved it into a verse list and now want to delete the highlighting I used in the gospels. It will be pretty tedious to go back and remove each one individually. Do I have any options?

I highlighted verses in my Bible using the highlighting tool. I then did a search for all the highlights in a specific book of the Bible. From that search I created a passage list. Now that I have the passage list, I no longer need the highlights. I would like to get rid of all the highlights so that I can reuse that highlighter for something else. I am wondering if there is an easy way to do this.
What difference would it make between the two options you questioned me about?

If you had set up the notes environment so all the highlights went into a single notes document you could have deleted the document and the highlights would go
if you he the default scheme they will be in with other highlights so you don't have that option.
Are theses the only highlights you have in the book? If so, you could select a portion of the book (click and drag with your mouse) then right-click and select "remove annotations". Bur don't do this if there are other highlights in the same selection which you want to keep.

For clarification: Every highlight has a corresponding note in a note document. The default behavior is for a note to be created in a pallet specific (named) note document. Personally, I create resource specific (named) note documents and have changed the default behavior so that I can organize my highlighting notes. Finding notes in the default note documents is a bit like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Thanks for your help. For future reference, how do I send the highlights to a specified note document? I take it the highlight would still show up in the text, but I could save the notes into another format and then delete the notes document, thereby removing all the highlights. That is what I want to do! I believe what I did was highlight the resource. I will try your second suggestion and see if that allows me to delete larger sections of notes.

The answer is different between mobile and desktop. On mobile, the answer is system wide. Within L5 (Mac or PC), the behavior is controlled at the pallet level. To change the behavior, hover and right click to the right of the pallet name, which will bring up a drop down box. The settings are in there (like Prego - it's in there!)

I went to the Brown highlighting style on my Highlighting Pallet, right-clicked and chose "Restyle Annotations." It gave me the choice to have "None". When I clicked that, all my Brown annotations went away! Thanks for the help!
