Discussion: Devotional Reading Plans 2014

I thought it might be interesting to see what others will be doing for "devotional" reading plans in 2014. I have used the M'Cheyne reading plan for a couple of years now, but decided to make a change this year to focus on the Gospels & Epistles. It is my intention to read through the Gospels & Epistles four times, with readings out of the two categories each week day. The reference range I used was Mat-Jn | Ro-Jud, which created the two readings each weekday. I set the start date as Jan 1st & the end date as the last day in March, which will mean I will need to restart the plan every three months. Put another way, I will read through each of the Gospels and Epistles every three months.

What plan are you considering using?

I did something very similar this year:  OT twice, and NT 4 times.  It has been hugely rewarding as a devotional and for gaining a bird's-eye view perspective of the entirety of the Scriptures.   So: NT every 3 months, and OT every 6 months, six days per week with Sundays reserved for corporate worship.

This coming year I'm still tweaking the plan, but in addition to a couple of trips through with an audio Bible, I'll be doing a few in-depth book-by-book studies using the Inductive methodology.
