eBible Pastor Edition Upgrade

i have just purchased a copy of eBible Pastor Edition. Where on the logos web site can I use the serial number to download the software? Also does this automatically upgrade it? Has the name changed to something different?

Hi Tim, welcome to the forums.
[EDIT - Misunderstood nature of resources purchased.]

Tim,
The best thing to do is to contact customer service. They can help you download a version of the software that will run on your system as well as handle the activation code. Otherwise, you get into running old software that may or may not be compatible with other elements of your system.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

As MJ says, ideally phone customer services (use skype or equivalent if you're outside the US and concerned about the cost of the call) with the serial number from your new software, and they should be able to guide you.

The others have advised you well. I did want to clarify a couple of things...
- Logos has changed over the past 5 years or so. Almost all resources are now purchased "in the cloud" and no physical media is used. (Sometimes Logos sells base packages at conferences on CD-ROMS). Also, Logos used to work with publishers and other third parties to allow them to sell Logos resources. Going forward, new resources are only sold through Logos (although there are OLD resources still available until those supplies dry up).
- In the Logos system, the software is free... you pay for resources and data sets (which are needed to make some features work). The software on the disc you have is very old and not worth your time to install.
- The resource collection (the specific bundle) you purchased is no longer sold... but don't worry! Those resources will be available to you within the new software (called "Logos 5" or "L5").
As the others advised, a call to Logos is your best bet. You will need to give them the serial number and create a Logos account (if you haven't already). You will want to download the L5 software engine, which you can do from the install link in my signature line. If you already have a Logos account, enter your credentials (username & password) into the software. Once you call Logos and have the resources added to your account, they will start downloading from Logos. Sometimes that process is so quick, I have had the download begin before I hung up the phone with Logos!
Let us know how it goes! Feel free to stick around and ask other questions as you have them. [:)]
