Bug: Passage not picked up for a Commentary

The BKC (LLS:29.1.1 2013-10-14T17:29:57Z) is not included for a PG on Matthew 24:1-2  but is listed for the same PG in 5.2 SR-3. It is my #1 commentary and has an article on Mt 24:1-3.

EDIT: This BKC is a "smart selection" version whilst the version in 5.2 SR-3 is 2013-02-28T15:14:56Z. So it's not clear if the bug is due to the software or the resource, but it begs the question about changes made to the "smart selection" resources and the future of the feature.

The BKC (LLS:29.1.1 2013-02-28T15:14:56Z) is listed for a PG on Matthew 24:1-2 in 5.2 SR-3 but is not listed in the 5.2a beta. It is my #1 commentary and has an article on Mt 24:1-3.

Dave, do you have the BKC prioritized as your #1 commentary in the Library?

I tested this on 5.2a Beta 1 and noticed that if the BKC is prioritized as my #1 commentary it will show up as the #1 result under the Commentaries section for the PG on Matthew 24:1-2. However if the BKC is not prioritized, the BKC shows up but not as the top result.

    Yes.

You were quick to respond, and I had changed my original post to show the versions involved. I would guess your version in the beta is 2013-02-28T15:14:56Z

Issue resolved by reverting to version 2013-02-28T15:14:56Z using hide/unhide, but 5.2 beta adopters should be aware of potential problems with their "smart selection" resources.

Yes I did test this at first with the 2013-02-28T15:14:56Z version.

But after your seeing your reply, both Dylan and I tested this on Mac and Windows in 5.2a Beta 1 using the BKC (LLS:29.1.1 2013-10-14T17:29:57Z). I'm sorry but we are unable to reproduce this. We both have the BKC as our #1 commentary and it is being shown as the #1 result in the Commentaries section for PG on Matthew 24:1-2.

Could you have maybe accidentally clicked the 'x' by the BKC and deleted the commentary? Can you please delete the guide from the Guide panel menu and run it again? Maybe that will fix this issue. I can't think of why else the BKC is not showing up in the results.

If this doesn't work can you please post your logs, so then I can make a case for the Development.

We don't believe it was an issue with that version of the resource, but removing and re-adding the resource could have caused the passage guide to "rediscover" the BKC

I recollect looking at the PG (after loading the layout) and wondering why BKC wasn't listed, being my #1 commentary. The steps would be difficult to reproduce, though I may reload that version to confirm your finding.
