Despite promises that user-created content within Logos platform be first class citizens like the rest of resources, current implementation falls FAR SHORT of this promise.
the global search will say "yes, you have this note/clipping etc.," but it is almost impossible to locate the needed note in the notefile itself.
the same with Passage Guide. It will produce a link to the clipping with an illustration on a particular passage, but the link goes to the beginning of a clipping file, NOT to the needed clipping.
yes, you can then search again by Ctrl-F and putting the search string again, but why do I have to do it the second time? What if, instead of spelling "Isaiah 9:6" I simply put "Is 9:6" Guess what? Logos5 would not find the clipping it already found in Passage Guide. PRETTY DUMB FOR A "CADILLAC" OF BIBLE SOFTWARE!
Why is it? It is definitely not the same with "regular" resources. Their Ctrl-F resource-specific search window allows user to search before and after the current place, not so for user-created resources.
Extremely disappointed for a very long time already.
