BUG: Highlight Button Intermittently is Not Working on iPad
I am using highlighting in the new iOS7 version of Logos quite extensively. I am noticing a consistent issue when highlighting. I will select text to highlight, hit the "highlight" button, and nothing happens. It returns me back to the highlighted text. Most of the time it works correctly, but every 7or 8 highlights, I have this behavior. Interestingly, this is not occurring on my iPhone5S. I am having the issue on an iPad 4, latest iOS 7 version, latest Logos version.

Thanks, Alabama, for your reply. I am using the resource "Reading Revelation" and have not tried other resources yet. The highlighter doesn't seem to be an issue because the box to select a highlighter doesn't appear. I am still having issues today as I have been reading. Basically, as I am highlighting successfully (I'm using a solid color varying between yellow, red, and blue), I'll highlight an a new selections (after about 5-10 highlights), hit "Highlight" and nothing happens. It goes back to the highlighted text. If anyone wants to try this on their iPad (I'm not having an issue on my iPhone), highlight anywhere between 5-10 selections over a regular reading frequency and see if you have an issue. What I will do is try the same with other resources and see if I have a problem with those. Thanks.

Could it be a target area issue (You aren't hitting the button in the "right" location)?

Thanks, Alabama. I appreciate you trying to reproduce this. I was able to recreate this issue in the ESV resource along with the Reading Revelation resource so it doesn't appear to be resource specific. I really don't believe it is a "target" issue. I've been pretty careful in my selection.
I have noticed on my iPad that there is a delay or other activity happening behind the scenes after I highlight a selection. It is possible that as I am hitting "Highlight," the reason it is unsuccessful bringing up a window is because another process is canceling the action because of a refresh. Because the iPhone is quite a bit faster, it doesn't seem to be an issue on that device. At this point, I am just reporting what I am finding. Hopefully, this can be helpful for the developers.
