Anyone get a Windows 8.1 Tablet for Christmas?

Did you get a new Windows Tablet for Christmas?
Are you trying Logos on it? How is it working for you?
(there are other notes on this subject but I wanted to see who got what and how you feel about your new Bible tool?)

I think you must mean windows 8.1 and Logos 5.x - there are several threads on the forum already about people who are using this combination
- Most people seem to like it, but there are some draw backs regarding narrow touch areas for certain things causing mis-clicks and iirc someone complained about not being able to select text... Frankly I don't have one, so you're probably better off finding the source material. There is a search window up to the top right

Yes,I got a Surface Pro 2, and Logos 5 on the Surface pro 2 is the best Logos experience I have ever had.
Actually Santa came a few weeks early. I have probably said too much about it in other posts, so I will shut up.

Do you use a digitizer pen with it and enjoy underlining while reading now?
Did you have to take out a second mortgage to afford your payments?

Not sure if you are asking me, but I will answer. Yes, I do sometimes underline with the pen. However, I think the best use of the pen is to take notes in OneNote by hand as I study from Logos. I use half the screen for a floating Logos panel and half for OnrNotr. Then OneNote does a great job of converting my notes to text. I also use a Bluetooth mouse with Logos, but if I am just reading, I scroll the page with my finger. I am surprised at how well Logos works with the Surface Pro 2. I was apprehensive about that, but it is no problem. I have had the IPad for a long time, but Surface Pro 2 is a much better tablet experience in my opinion. Yes, it cost me more than I probably should have spent. ($1,299 plus tax). But I needed to replace my laptop because the screen was going out. I paid more for the laptop that I replaced with the Surface Pro. For what I got it was a bargain. No regrets here. It is both the best tablet and best laptop that I have ever had. And when I think of how much money I have invested in my Logos resources, it is less than a tenth of that cost.
