Crash

The software froze yesterday. I rebooted my computer and tried opening it again, but it repeatedly would get to the first home page, them suddenly shut down and disappear. I went to "Applications" and dragged the Logos icon to the trash, re-downloaded and installed it, but the problem persisted. I downloaded FontTest and ran it, but that didn't seem to work, either.

Welcome Mark,
We need to see some logs to pinpoint the cause. Please read carefully to ensure we get the right logs. You can try starting with Cmd key to see if it will work with a blank layout.

FYI - Most of the time, deleting the application is pointless... the data files (the most likely culprit) remain in place. As Dave suggested, we will need to look at logs. You can use the link in my signature line to get mac instructions for logging.

This are two database errors, but the log file doesn't say which data file(s) are to blame. Instead I read "<filename unknown>" in both instances.
I think this will need a call to tech support.

Please delete the folder /Users/lincolnparkubf/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/djse5u1z.fow/UserPreferences2 and restart Logos. It should recreate the database and allow you to work.
